Back2One Productions was proud to announce our acceptance of three films, including "YOU!" & "Pervasive" into the International, Action on Film Festival, held in Monrovia, CA.
The 10th Annual AOF Festival was put together by the Dynamic Duo, Del & Theresa Weston. They made an excellent team and kept everything running smooth. They took plenty of photos for all the actors, friends and family, participating filmmakers, and were not only personable but also supplied after-party drink tickets.
What more could a Filmmaker ask for... I mean they even went as far as to not only post the pictures on Facebook, but also take the liberty to share and tag as many people possible. BRAVO!!!
We were well aware that the festival received thousands of submissions, and felt blessed to not only get accepted, but to also be nominated for an award. That in itself, was considered a Win.

"PERVASIVE" is a Psychological Thriller about a girl named Jada who suffers from PTSD. Traumatized from childhood she finds comfort in the arms and care of her two best friends, Kimber and Melanie...The girls set out on an allusive drug induced rampage, seeking vengeance when everything spirals out of control. Jada's reality becomes distorted leaving a trail of havoc behind as she tries to escape the grips of influence from her friends... The question is, do the girls even exist? The film was meant to spark a controversial flair and push the envelope and it definitely did it's job. I wanted to get people in their seats to "feel" the journey. There wasn't a dull moment and the sexuality and boundaries were tested all while the girls remained clothed. Oh, how the minds eye can spark sinister thoughts. Some loved it while some said they felt so uncomfortable but had to stay to see how it would all play out and admitted to being "captured" by the journey. All in all, success achieved. Natasha Dee Davis, writer, producer, director and played the character of Melanie.
Johanna Rae, played the lead character Jada.

He was very sincere when sharing his experience and want to make sure I knew to Do what I'm Passionate about... "Do what means something to you", he said. Just before he was leaving, I thanked him for his advice and told him how much I appreciated him taking the time to share... again his sincerity echoed, "You have something special sweetheart, you make me feel like my sharing is going to a good place," as he pointed to my heart... Awww... =) Very sweet by someone well respected, I'm a sponge for wisdom and gaining insight from someone who holds a lifetime of knowledge. Memorable moment.
